Last week we recorded 4 songs for John Kennedy’s Xfm Xposure live session…just listening to the radio and it’s been announced for broadcast tonight…can’t wait for everyone to hear it.

Tune in on 104.9FM or online at www.xfm.co.uk between 10pm and 2am tonight (Tuesday 2nd June).

Also we’re supporting Post War Years at their album launch tomorrow night at the Lexington…don’t miss this.

Last week was maybe our busiest yet (apart from maybe when we did our GCSEs but y’know, double maths was hardly a riot), did an Xfm session, played live, presented a radio show and then on Saturday we played at the IndigO2 arena supporting Calvin Harris. Which was fun.

Into June and trying not to give in to Lazyitis with all this sunshine around…we’re supporting the stupendous Post War Years at their album launch on Wednesday 3rd (@ The Lexington) and then the following week we’re off to Cardiff for the Rumble Strips-curated TopmanCTRL at Cardiff’s Clwb Ifor Bach on June 10th.

Oceans, mixtapes, radio sessions and witches…

We’ve returned from the Great Escape with salt in our hairdos and sand between our toes…Ocean Rooms on Friday night was a riot, Brighton is our second home so it was lovely to get back there and breathe the sea air. And to top it all we also got to hang out with Hot Leg, lovely rock n’ roll fellas, talking mainly about darts and alliterating the letter Q…

We’re also really pleased to say that we’ve been confirmed to record an Xposure session for John Kennedy at Xfm at the end of May, listen out…

Anyway, now back happily choking on car fumes we turn our minds towards what is probably going to be the party of the year (or the week at least) at the Queen of Hoxton on Friday – the launch for Plugs’ cracking new single ‘All Them Witches’. Great poster, great line-up…

XFM Xposure Live TONIGHT / in the studio

We recorded a live set at the Barfly last week for John Kennedy’s XFM Xposure Live and it’ll be broadcast tonight sometime between 10pm and 2am – tune in kids!

Coming atcha from the studio today and tomorrow…recording massive Balearic sounds with Andy Spence, wait for the summer, I Am The Sound!
